A little throw back from the fall. This family is near and dear to my heart. I have seen them grow from one to four. Grandma is the one who makes this happen. I love that she wants to be a part of their lives in such a way. This is one of many sessions we have taken together. Just an incredible family.
Cherokee park is always beautiful. It doesn’t matter the time of year. A little history about Cherokee Park. It was designed by Frederick Olmsted in 1891. If that name sounds familiar to you, it is because Oldsted is most famous for designing the world renowned Central Park in New York City. His gift is elevating the natural landscape with pathways and incorporating architectural design that adds, not subtracts to the overall design and natural feeling.
Due to timing, we were limited by the sun. It was intense to say the least. But the kiddos did wonderful. It was the right mixture of serious, joy, silliness, love and connection. And we got to get a very sweet photo of mom and dad while they tackled grandma in the leaves. Priceless moments. It is hard to beat playing in the leaves on a beautiful fall day.
