It is that time again! Fall Photos! Fall is my busiest time as a photographer here in Kentucky. After months of brutal heat and humidity, so many clients like to take advantage of our most beautiful season, Autumn. Plus it is a great time to think about the upcoming holiday gifts and holiday cards, etc. I have been taking photos of this little cutie since she was only 10 days old. Crazy how time flies! She has always been a little ham, so fun to shoot. This may have been one of my favorite sessions with her. After many years of sessions at beautiful parks or rural areas across Kentucky, mom decided to do something different. So we decided to explore more urban areas in this awesome city we live in. I love the colors of the downtown buildings. The juxtaposition between a sweet 6 year old and the brick buildings of the city are always fun. But ironically, both of our favorite photo was one of her throwing scattered leaves up in the air. I am not sure how it happened, but the leaves formed a perfect oval above her head, looking like magic. I guess that is why I love photography so much, especially with kids, it is so unpredictable. I couldn’t repeat that photo, without photoshop, if I tried. And that is ok with me. I love that after many many years, I can still be surprised by a moment. And on top of that, mom always brings the fun outfits. The unicorn outfit was so cute, but so were all the others. I would totally were her last little outfit, she looked so grown up.
