I am not just a photographer, but an artist and storyteller. Whether it be a newborn session or a family reunion, I approach portrait photography from a lifestyle perspective; storytelling. I blend creative, natural poses with real life moments. I want our sessions to be fun and full of life. I want you to be able to look back on these photos and say, this is who we were, this was our love or this was our little boy at two, shy or silly. Connections and real laughs are what I love and my job is to highlight this in a timeless, creative way.

As a boutique studio, our commitment to you is our time; no stress, only great images that will be loved for a lifetime. From the beginning of the process, I am here for questions about locations, wardrobe, props, tricks for younger kids or newborns, etc. I want this to be as stress free as possible and by planning ahead we can insure a successful session, full of beautiful imagery.
Tara is just amazing! She was so patient and positive with our 1 1/2 yr old that he actually enjoyed the experience. She was able to capture his personality on film. She got so many good shots that it was hard to choose the pictures to print. We wanted them all. I’m grateful and can’t wait to work with her again.

Children and Families. I love to photograph children of all ages and especially love photographing families. The laughs and hugs, the funny faces and serious moments. I love it all. I look for the hidden moments during the session, the reach of a hand, the mom watching her little ones new steps, or an expression that only you know too well. Pet Photography. Yes your pets need photos, too! They can be part of the family or have their own individual session. From baby to senior, these fur babies are part of of family. About Me
My number one job is mom. I am a mother of two incredible kids. They have taught me so much over the years. Patience, unconditional love, realistic expectations and true happiness. I will say that it is the best and hardest job I know I will ever have.
I love to travel. It is probably one of my greatest joys, outside of my family. I am also a mom of two cats and a dog. My husband and I bought five acres in Oldham County where I host my studio, I recently started gardening and fell in love. I had no idea a tomato could bring that much joy! I also have beautiful land for photos with horses and wildflowers galore. I love letting the land grow wild, every month we have new treasures.
My love for photography began at a young age and never stopped. I have a Bachelors in Fine Art and Fashion Photography, along with experience in photojournalism and portraiture. Those qualities make for a more real and creative experience. I approach every session as an opportunity to not only create something beautiful for you but also tap into my creativity, to help fuel my soul. One of the highlights of my job is seeing the joy these images bring to my families. I have long relationships with many of my clients and for that I am blessed. Watching kids and families grow and connect has been an incredible gift.
