It is throwback Thursday!  I am trying to organize drives before the season gets too busy, upgrading to safer storage means, and I came across this session that I never posted.  Talk about a gorgeous fall day.  Those colors are just unreal!  I have worked with this family for a long time.  Starting with the Aunt of these adorable children, when I photographed their wedding on their family farm in Southern Indiana.  So when her sister called me to do photos of her kids, I was so excited because I know this is a great family, full of love.

I am always amazed by families where the children out number the parents. I struggle keeping it together and I just have two kiddos.  This four piece was incredible to observe. The two older boys were just so kind and loving to their two baby sisters.

Sessions with kids are unpredictable.  And the two youngest twins fell asleep on the way to the session.  Not ideal but we made it work.  The candid moments are always my favorite anyways, the moments between the poses tell the story.  The story of love, family, play, silliness, and inquisitive currioustity that only exists in young children.  Those are the moments that I love best.

Enjoy a handful of the moments from this day.

And as a friendly reminder, back up your hard drives.  Technology is forever changing and getting better. What was once the best five years ago has most likely changes.  And have more than one place you store your most precious photos.  Back up on a Cloud.  Give your parents or a friend a back up drive.  I have had clients that lost everything in a fire and the one thing they miss the most are the photos.  They are part of our memories and fortunately we can keep them safer than ever before.  But don’t wait!
