What a winter we had. It’s been a while since we’ve seen this much snow combined with ice, it really was beautiful. I hope everyone was able to pause for a few days and enjoy some time with family, sledding, hot cocoa and snow cream.
This is a great friend of mine‘s little girl who just recently turned three. For a while now she has been very fascinated with water, so the spot at Cherokee Park was perfect for us on a snowy day. This was just a small mini session but I tell you what, and 15 minutes this girl gave it her all. She was a trooper because it was really cold but as soon as she saw the water it was on, stick in hand, she was ready for her adventure.
The best thing about photographing young kids is the unexpected nature of what is to come from a session. We had the most beautiful light which added to the story. Most of these images are straight out of the camera with very little enhancement, the light was that good.
But now I’m happy to move on from spring, I’ll post a few more of these fun snowy sessions in the next week or so. I’m looking forward to some beautiful spring colors as the leaves flower and bloom. Hit me up if you were interested in getting on the books. I have a waiting list for those who want peak spring flowers, this is a small window and times may vary.
