This beautiful lady was the subject of my very first “professional” newborn session. Man I was nervous. She was so tiny and fragile. But so cute! I have learned many tricks over the years but will always have a special place in my heart for this young lady.
It is hard to imagine, having known her, but every year she becomes more and more interesting. It makes me think, “How old are you again?” She is so poised. So uniquely talented, passionate, and hardworking. She is kind, articulate and funny. I could go on. I have said it many times before but Scott and Katy, you have a good one!
The light for this late fall session was short but very sweet. With clear sky’s and mild temperatures it was a perfect Kentucky fall day. At the rivers edge, we explored as the sun set to the west. Piles of untouched driftwood decorated the trail. Exposed tree roots and worn rock were a reminder of the beauty of raw nature.
It was just gorgeous. It is sad for me to say this was my first trip to the Falls of the Ohio but it won’t be the last. It is a great place to take the kids to play and explore along the Ohio. Fun fact, it features the largest exposed Devonian fossil bed in the world. It is also a great place to take an early hike and watch the sunrise over downtown Louisville. Either way, if you are in the area, I highly suggest you explore this natural park.
As always, this lady brings her own unique style to every session. And can I just say she has the cutest hair style and smile. And the dress with the boots! The vinyl pants! LOVE!
I hope you enjoy these! Watch this one. She will do great things!
