Last fall may have been one of the prettiest falls I remember, and it started very early. The weather was all over the place, from hot to cold, even got snow for one weekend. Either way, it was a photographers dream! Leaves are just starting to change, it is hard to know how things will progress, but now is the time to book for mid October to mid November for fall family photos.
I love Kentucky and all of its layers of color and textures. And Louisville has some of the most beautiful parks. For those of you who don’t know, several of the parks were designed by Fredrick Olmstead, the same architect who designed Central Park in New York City. I added a link below if you happen to be interested in more information on him.
This session below was at Anchorage Trail, the best place to see deer families or very expensive doodles. I kid. But honestly there are always the most beautiful dogs in that park. This now family of four never fails to bring the style. This is our second time in Anchorage. We had scheduled this date over the summer for early October, not expecting to have the intense colors that you usually don’t see until late October or early November. So it was a nice surprise. If I recall, it was also perfect temps. The stars aligned!
Everyone was full of smiles and love. The oldest is and as long as I have known her, been a ham. So much sass and spirit. She keeps me laughing. And she is as cute as can be! As is the newest addition, who has that great red hair like dad. Such a beautiful family!
Please check out this fun session and contact the studio today with any questions or to schedule a session.
